Unbelievable place. Took a couple weeks to get in and clearly we could tell why almost immediately! Felt like we were walking into Thailand. The parking is not great especially for a larger SUV like mine. Took us a second to get one. We were sat in the bar which was a fun experience. My husband is a muscular guy and barely fit between the two seater bar tables. It worked tho. All of the food was delicious. We tried several plates, sharing style. Will definitely be back!

NOTE: MAKE A RESERVATION BEFORE READING Okay, I have to admit, I was skeptical about this whole TikTok restaurant hype thing. But when it came to Glai Baan, I figured I'd give it a shot. And let me tell you, this place is the Beyoncé of Thai restaurants in Phoenix - everyone wants a piece of it. First off, the wait. I felt like I was waiting for a new season of my favorite show to drop - almost two hours for a table! But here's the kicker: it was absolutely worth it. The cozy room, killer cocktails, and compelling menu kept me glued to my spot like a food-fueled binge-watcher. Glai Baan's menu is like a greatest hits album of Bangkok and northeastern Thailand street foods. Each dish is a chart-topping, taste-bud-tingling masterpiece. The Peek gai tod (chicken wings) are so crispy and flavorful, you'll want to hoard them like they're the last wings on earth. Seriously, these marinated wings with jaew sauce should have their own fan club. Then there are the Son in Law eggs. Trust me, just try them. These beauties are like the plot twist you never saw coming but are so glad you did. They're perfectly cooked, slightly sweet, and totally addictive. And, of course, no visit to a Thai restaurant is complete without Pad Thai. Glai Baan's version is so good, it could make a grown man cry (happy tears, of course). It's the kind of Pad Thai that makes you question all other Pad Thais you've ever had. The social media buzz is real, folks. Glai Baan is not just a hit; it's a sensation. So, if you're in Phoenix and have a couple of hours to spare, head over to Glai Baan. Your taste buds will thank you, your Instagram will blow up, and you'll leave wondering why you ever doubted TikTok in the first place.

The hype about this place is more than well deserved. After having this place marked as "want to go" for several years, we finally visited tonight! It took us a bit to get reservations, but the wait was worth it. Upon entry to leaving, the staff and service were all top notch and incredible! Lots of eye contact, smiles and rare attention to detail. A spoon fell off our table and within moments a staff member appeared out of nowhere and replaced it without us requesting it. The service of food was surprising speedy! Our food and drinks both came out quickly! The atmosphere is so fricken cute and cozy, yet a tad noisy. Looked like they had a cute patio for cooler months as well. Food wise, omg yum! We each got different cocktails, split 2 appetizers and then tried 3 different entrees, one being a repeat of another order. We asked the waiter for his recommendations and ordered what he suggested for everything - it was all incredible and we look forward to returning again!

Make reservations in advance! Arrived here at 4:05PM (5 mins after opening) on a Saturday and it was practically full. Luckily there was an open table and was seated. At 4:15 there was already a 70 min wait! However it is definitely worth it. They have patio seating however it's closed until the sun goes down. The Kao Soi is absolutely delicious and I would order it time and time again. The curry broth is very flavorful and one of the best I've tasted throughout my life. Definitely the star of my dinner. Overall would definitely eat here again and recommend it to anyone who is craving Thai food.
